This five course dinner will highlight one of France’s most renowned wines, from one of the region’s best producers.
Saint Prefert is one of the few single spread estates; the plot set out there has remained unchanged since 1932, with its wine intimately associated with the upkeep of its genetic heritage. Over the last ten years, specific work has been carried out to provide the estate with its own vegetal background. Massal selection is carried out on our very old and very resistant Mourvèdre vines, some of which were planted in 1920 and are still producing. They boast all the requisite qualities to give a great wine: small loose bunches, small well-coloured berries with a balanced spread and low-yield vines.
Wines featured will include...
2014 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc
2014 Magnums Cuvée Special 100% Clairette from 100 year old vines
2012 Reserve Auguste Favier
2013 Collection Charles Giraud
